Coronavirus (COVID-19) UPDATE
We would like to reassure our customers that we are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.Due to the Government announcement yesterday, we have taken the decision to cancel all immediate shows in our Edinburgh, Glasgow & Newcastle venues until Monday 13th April. This will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.We have a duty of care to protect our staff, artists and customers during this time of advised social distancing. We are working with artists to reschedule shows for later dates. Our box office team are diligently working to deal with customer queries so please bear with us during this difficult time.The Stand Comedy Club is not some huge profit-making machine. We exist because comedy fans opened a club for other fans and to enrich the comedy circuit in both Scotland and the North East of England. We essentially make our living through our bar operation. With this income now in jeopardy, we are offering a customer credit for cancelled shows. This can be used for rebooking the cancelled show when we have a new date, or any other show in our programme once we’re open for laughter again.Thank you for your support not just now but over the years.
